Customer Services

Chillicothe Municipal Utilities provides the community with electric, water, waste water, refuse, and Internet services.

  • Connection Services

New customers may make arrangements to begin service by stopping by our office at 920 Washington Street. An application must be filled out and new residential customers will need the following:

A deposit which must be paid before services may begin. The
deposit is applied to your final bill when services are terminated.

Identification - a driver's license or some other form of picture identification.

Renters need a rent receipt from the landlord.

CMU can normally provide same-day services if the request is made before 2:00 p.m.

If you are moving from one location to another in town, let us know the date you want your services disconnected and the new services to begin. This is done in person at the Utilities Office, since a tax form must be signed. Your deposit will automatically be transferred to your new address, and there is no additional charge for changing locations of service.
