Water Department
Chillicothe’s water supply comes from four alluvial wells, which replaced
the Grand River as a water source in the early 1970’s. The water treatment
plant has a capability of providing 6 million gallons per day and a firm
output of 4 ½ million gallons per day. CMU serves almost 4,000 water
customers and has 90 miles of water line.
